3 Bedroom House in Alamogordo

Are you reporting to Holloman or White Sand Missile Range for training or a short term assignment? Our beautiful 3 bedroom, two bath home comes fully furnished with nice furnishings and all utilities including internet PAID. It is available for short term or month to month. We know it is a hassle to move your furnishings for a short term assignment, or to live in a hotel room, or base housing because none of the local landlords will rent with less than a one year contract. This home is tastefully furnished, just pack your toothbrush. It is a much better alternative to hotel suites or commuting for a short term training.
The Master Bedroom has a new king size Tempurpedic bed, with new high thread count linens. It has a walk in closet, TV and dresser in Master bedroom and a in suite bath.
The guest room has a nice queen sized bedroom set with a tv and DVD player.
The third bedroom is set up as a nursery, but could be switched out to regular bedroom for longer stays.
The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances. It comes with all the dishware, utensils and cookware you will need for a gourmet meal, or if you prefer, there are many good dining options nearby.
The living room has comfortable reclining leather couches, new 48" smart tv and high speed internet. We have a dining room table that seats 6, and a high top table for entertaining in the sunroom.
Our home has a brand new refrigerated air conditioner unit for your comfort.
The double car garage has automatic garage door, work bench, epoxy floor finish, attic storage, water softener, washer and dryer.
We have a nice sunroom with gorgeous views of the s=Sacramento mountains, The back yard has RV or boat parking, a storage shed and gas grill.
Alamogordo is the perfect jumping off point to tour the Sacramento Mountains, the Lincoln National Forest, Billy the Kid country, White Sands National Monument or the Trinity site. It is a comfortable alternative to roughing it on your next hunting trip in the Sacramento Mountains. It is only about 15 minutes to Holloman AFB or White sands National Monument.

Summary: no live TV. All streaming, no instructions on how to use tv. Gas grill was in an aluminum shed. Grill was filthy. Only 3 chairs in sunroof, and no screens, too hot to use. No chairs to sit on in yard to enjoy view. No exit instructions.

Summary: This is a perfect place for young families. The whole house was spacious and able to accommodate all our needs. We had 3 spacious rooms plus a crib set-up for us - which was a life saver. We would definitely consider for future visits.

Summary: We moved here from Kansas and needed a place to stay till the house we were buying was available, and rented this sight unseen. This was the only house available for short term rental at the time. Since it was a vacation rental, we were expecting a real nice place for the extra money, but were sadly disappointed. Because of the return policy we were under lease for a month. Good things first: the house has a great view of the mountains from the back and is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a good sized house with ample room, a good floor plan, a 2 car garage. Mike the property manager was nice and helpful with problems we had. The not so good: when we arrived in the evening the thermostat wasn't working so the first night was uncomfortably warm; replaced batteries in thermostat the next day. The floors were dirty. The master bath was in need of a good cleaning also. The showers leaked bad enough they had little pressure. Several lights were burned out or not working. The furniture was run down, torn and broken. The washer was dirty, noisy, and had a bad odor. The dryer vent was unhooked and had been blowing lint all over the laundry area in the dirty garage. The windows in the master bedroom needed seals and whistled when the wind blew. The trees rubbed on the wall in the bedroom making a wierd noise during the night. Overall the house just needed some attention that it had not had in quite a while. I would not rent this property again unless the owner made an effort to clean and fix it up.
